Over 100 participants heard 24 papers during the 3 days of meetings. GSA abstracts are published in Geological Society of America, Abstracts with Programs, v. 29, no. 4. Papers have been collected for a proceedings volume to be submitted for publication as a GSA Special Paper.
The meeting was preceded by a field trip along the outermost ice marginal zone of the Green Bay Lobe. It concentrated on moraine and outwash genesis and the origin of the Wisconsin Dells. Between the GSA and MGM meetings a field trip up the flow line of the Green Bay Lobe concentrated on drumlins and other subglacial features.
